15 Months

Cece recently turned 15 months old and had her 15 month checkup. I wasn't able to go to the doctor with them because of work, so Michelle had to go on her own which is tough when they get shots. Cece continues to be off the charts in weight and height at greater than 97th percentile. Her head is also moving up to 85th percentile, so we have a very happy and healthy baby. The doctor seemed slightly concerned with her weight, but we aren't going to worry about it too much because she is getting more and more mobile every day and we think she will burn off the extra weight soon.

We now know that Cece is allergic to egg whites and her own saliva, but those both seem to go away after she turns two or three. We feel very lucky that is all the issues she has so far, and couldn't ask for a better baby! She is very much getting into the parrot phase where she copies every word that you say; I gotta remember to watch my mouth now, especially while driving. I can't even keep track of how many words she now has in her vocabulary, and it multiplies daily. I am trying to get some good video of her vocabulary to show off soon, so stay tuned as I already have some.

Cece's grandparents recently returned from a trip to Hawaii and as any first time grandparents would do, bought her quite a few presents while they were there. They stopped by our house during a work day to see Cece and Michelle came home from lunch to find Cece dressed in one of the presents they had bought her. She looked so cute in her grass skirt and lei that we decided to use that outfit for her 15 month pictures. It is really tough now to get her to stand still for the camera, but this was our attempt at a photo shoot.
