Father's Day and My Birthday

I got to enjoy my first Father's Day a few weeks ago and had a great time. We started off that weekend by visiting our friends Tim and Kelly in Sanford on our way down to Pinehurst. It was nice to see them since it had been a few months, and they were very happy they got to see the baby since they are new Grandparents going through a little withdrawal due to distance. It was good to catch up with them and we hope it won't be as long until the next time we see them. We then went on to the Tartalio's and stayed the night and had a nice relaxing Father's Day. Michelle made it a very nice weekend taking care of me and arranging to have a card made from Cece. With the help of our new Nanny, Cece was able to hand paint my Father's Day card, and she was very happy about it as you can see!

On my Birthday we had my parents, little brother Danny, his dog Baxter, older brother Randy, his wife Andrea, my two nephews Ian and Will, and their dog Charlotte all come down to visit for the weekend. Things were hectic as they tend to be when my ever expanding family gets together, but we all had a good time and we were glad they all came down. We didn't do a lot of activities outside the house other than go to the pool, and that was a lot of fun. We did a lot of grilling for meals and my recycling bin was overflowing with the evidence that we definitely enjoyed ourselves.

Cece was so happy to spend time with her cousins, she gets so fascinated by other little kids. We even think she is crawling and moving better today because she saw the older kids walking around and she wanted to be like them and really wants to move quicker on her own. Even Lou Dog enjoyed spending time with his cousins, although it did take him a while to warm up to Baxter and for Baxter to relax just a little bit, but Charlotte helped calm them down. Here are a few pictures from the weekend, I didn't take as many photos as I wanted, but having so many people in one place keeps you busy.
