We were also very excited to eat some bagels and pizza, the food is so good up there. Other than eating great food, we mostly stayed around the house and tried to help out Jess and Scott since we know what it is like being new parents. Cece and Ryan both had a lot of fun hanging out and were very entertaining for their parents; it is funny how much your views on what is entertainment shift after you become parents. Nicole came over for a visit Saturday and Stacy was supposed to as well, but came down with a fever and sinus infection and couldn't make it. We were very happy to see Nicole, but sad that we missed Stacy; I guess that gives us a reason to try and get back up there soon!
Saturday night proved to be a bit of a challenge as Cece was up from 12-3:30 crying from cutting her top two teeth. We tried Tylenol, formula, laying with her in bed and on the couch, but nothing consoled her. At one point I misjudged the second to last stair as the last stair and stumbled with the baby in my arms. My lower right back took the brunt of the fall, and Michelle came to check on us as she heard us fall and did the exact same thing. It was actually pretty funny in hind sight, but after being up for 3 hours trying to console your baby, your sense of humor is a little off.
Even though there were a few problems with plane delays and we stayed up most of Saturday night, we still had a lot of fun and were glad we got to see our friends and meet Ryan. Michelle and Jess keep saying Ryan and Cece will be dating some day, but I think she has a while to go before she turns 40, so we won't need to worry about that. Here are a few pictures from the weekend, next time we need to take more pictures.
