Speech Scientist

In typical over-achieving Michelle fashion, she signed up Cecelia for a Duke speech study on infants that she did last week. The study was to determine how young infant children could respond to different languages to compare to Japanese children, who apparently respond to different languages longer than American children. Michelle got to hold Cecelia while she listened to different spoken languages (Michelle had to wear headphones so she couldn't hear) and Michelle wasn't allowed to say anything during the process. It turns out Cece responded best to the German language, so maybe she will grow up to be a fan of sour kraut and beer. Now Michelle already has something to add to Cece's resume for schools, and I am sure there will be more to come!
